Join us! We are always looking for men and women who are interested in learning this art form. Our repertoire ranges from delicate dances of the nobility to spirited dances of villagers — with costumes from over 15 regions of Poland!

A unique way to learn about Polish character style, the basics of partnering, and aerials. Are you:

• a ballroom or swing enthusiast interested in trying challenging dance styles and aerials?
• a trained dancer who would like more character experience?
• a folk dancer who is looking for a new place to participate?
• interested in theater acting and love to entertain?
• curious about the extremely rich tradition and heritage of Poland?
• someone who loves to wear colorful costumes?
• a homesick native of Poland?

Join us! Maybe dancing is not your first love, but you can really belt out a song! We are always looking for men and women who are interested in singing and soloists. Our repertoire has many singing parts in our regional suites — and costumes from over 15 regions of Poland!

A unique way to learn about Polish character style. Of course, all lyrics are in Polish! Are you:

Choreographers and Teachers

Celebrating 35 years of presenting beautiful dances from Poland to all.
Join us! We are seeking individuals based in or visiting the Philadelphia area who are trained in leading a Polish ensemble. Our repertoire has a very wide range and we have an extensive costume collection from over 15 regions of Poland! We have a combination of seasoned Polish dancers and intermediate level. We perform choreographies for 1, 4, 6, 8, and 10 couples, occasionally more. Janosik welcomes new repertoire. This may be your conduit to teach Polish character style and regional suites.

We are looking for :

• a choreographer who is looking for a new place to express himself
• a teacher of Polish dance
• a leader of Polish dance
• an assistant artistic director
